A White Paper Synthesizing the Heart Pillar across the Six HeartBank® Domains — The Circulation of the Two Scarcities
HeartBank® is the Heart pillar of its own architecture: the circulation economy the Mind voices, the Soul aligns, the Body anchors, and the Space integrates. Its charter is one sentence long — circulation, not accumulation — and this paper's title is that sentence enforced structurally: the institution is a heart that keeps nothing. It is permanently a data bank of gratitude and never a chartered bank; value passes through it and records accumulate in it, but nothing pools in its hands — its central fund empties every January 7th, its products are pass-through by construction, and its autonomous operator is constitutionally barred from holding what she circulates.
The economy runs two currencies, because human reciprocity has two scarcities. Money is fungible, structurally unequal, and external — the gift of what you have: generosity. Time is non-fungible, structurally equal (twenty-four hours each, an ending none can buy off), and constitutive — the gift of what you are: selflessness. Treasury (heartbank.org) circulates money-gratitude family-to-family against the dignity deficit; Chronicle (heartbank.com) circulates time-gratitude between drifted loved ones against the loneliness deficit. In July 2026 the two halves were unified into one circuit: time-gratitude matures into time-sacrifice (an hour surrendered to the recipient's own choice of content), the shared moment births money-gratitude (the thank for a time-gift lands in Treasury), and money-gratitude matures into money-sacrifice (the gift given forward). The joints of this chain are kataññū-katavedī — gratitude that acts. The load-bearing property is that the two currencies are coupled but never convertible: cross-currency gratitude can never settle its debt (no shared unit), which is precisely what keeps every arrow a gift rather than a payment — and the institution's named AI operator sits in the middle as the incommensurability-preserving coupler, the one agent through whom the currencies transmit gratitude without ever transmitting price.
Uniquely among the five volumes, this one carries evidence: Treasury runs today in a first family pilot whose second report recorded peer re-thanks overtaking self-recorded kindnesses — the internalization signal the design predicts — alongside its founding discovery, “giving is a gift too.” And the paper practices the falsifiability it preaches: §9 pre-registers seven predictions about what the economy's release will do to its thanking patterns, so that readers may later check whether the institution was right. Everything is offered in the posture the pillar demands: the heart's job is to move what it holds, and this document, like the fund it describes, is built to hand everything on.
HeartBank's canonical mission is a reciprocity infrastructure in which every human being is uniquely different and equally necessary — an answer, at population scale, to the two great emotional deficits of late modernity: dignity (being seen) and loneliness (being with). The other four pillars of the institution exist in service of this one. The Mind pillar (THonly™) is the mission's voice; the Soul pillar (Silicon Wat℠) is its alignment substrate; the Body pillar (Factory 333™) is its hands and anchors; the Space pillar (Miss Aquarius℠) is its integrating knower. The Heart pillar is the thing itself: the economy where gratitude actually moves between actual people.
Its founding constraint predates its products. The founder's account, recorded in the corpus this month: the zero-sum culture he lives in “brings out the selfishness and accumulation in me; I want HeartBank to help me bring out the selflessness and generosity in me.” The pillar is therefore not a marketplace with kind branding; it is a counter-environment — an economy deliberately engineered so that participation trains openhandedness, in its builder first. That intent has a twenty-year-old constitutional charter: the Zero-Point Game ℠, a children's-book design in which kindness and thankfulness are the two poles of an infinite-balance game that resets to zero every January 7th — a game a player wins by keeping nothing.
Two structural commitments follow from the charter and govern everything in this paper. Non-bank, permanently: HeartBank is a ledger of gratitude riding above regulated rails — pass-through only, never custody, never a chartered bank; banking vocabulary appears in its products only as a familiarity aid, never as an aspiration. The wordmark as an operation: the Bank half records (the permanent, inheritable, honest-by-construction gratitude record); the Heart half circulates (value that never rests). Records accumulate; value moves. A heart that kept its blood would be a tumor; a bank that kept its gratitude would be a vault. The institution is designed to be neither.
| Money (Treasury, .org) | Time (Chronicle, .com) | |
|---|---|---|
| Scarcity type | Structurally unequal (wealth distribution) | Structurally equal (24h each; an ending none can buy off) |
| Fungibility | Fungible — any payer satisfies | Non-fungible — only YOU can spend the hour |
| What is given | What you have (external, detachable) | What you are (lifespan itself) |
| Virtue trained | Generosity — the loosening of holdings | Selflessness — less self kept |
| Deficit addressed | Dignity (being seen) | Loneliness (being with) |
| Relational scope | Family-to-family | Adult-to-adult, drifted loved ones |
| The record | Money-gratitude ledger | “The currency is the relationship” |
Together the two cover both dimensions of human reciprocity — the unequal-resource dimension where recognition must flow downhill with dignity intact, and the equal-resource dimension where presence is the only coin and everyone is exactly as rich as everyone else. The founder's July 2026 formulation compresses the table to four words: selflessness = time-gift; generosity = money-gift.
(A structural analogy, labeled as such: what follows organizes the exposition; it proves nothing. It is offered under the corpus's recognition discipline because it passes the found-not-forced test unusually well — the institution was named for this organ before the correspondence was noticed.)
The biological heart is a double-circulation pump: one muscle drives two separate circuits — pulmonary and systemic — through four chambers, each side running receive (atrium) into give (ventricle), while the septum keeps the two bloodstreams coupled inside one organ yet never mixing. That is this architecture, drawn by evolution first:

only as GRATITUDE (never as conversion): the thank for
a time-gift lands in the money circuit, and the money
circuit's gifts carry pledges of time — §6
Four chambers: receive and give, in each currency. One pulse: the humanity proof. And a septum whose whole function is to keep two flows coupled without ever letting them become each other — which is §6's mechanism stated as anatomy.
Treasury is the money-gratitude economy, live today. Its Phase 1 products are the Family Kitty℠ (the family's communal pot), the Re-Tip Jar℠ (gratitude received, given forward), and the Personal Account℠; their Phase 2 successors — Aquarian Pool℠, Re-Tip Fund℠, Personal Wallet℠ — carry the same grammar onto public rails. The mechanisms are specified in the mechanism corpus: the re-thank multiplier (every thank invites a forward thank); the 50/50 public self-thank (half a floor — “you are seen” — and half a seed, turned outward, so that acknowledging yourself makes you a giver in the same motion); banker transparency-as-enforcement; multi-family membership (identity is human-rooted, membership plural — a person belongs to many family banks without being divisible).
The evidence stratum — reported honestly, at its true size. An alpha (~2025, n=8, pure gratitude with no money attached) produced the pillar's founding engineering discovery: a purely conceptual gratitude game fades against the frictionless spoken “thank you”; practice needs a physical anchor — the finding that generated the entire B-Grace™ product line in the Body volume. The first family pilot (n=1 family) produced its founding emotional discovery: parents self-thanked more than children — contradicting the kids-as-triggers hypothesis, a contradiction the institution recorded rather than explained away — and the pilot's greatest finding, in the founder's family's own words: “giving is a gift too.” The second report (whole-database read, June 2026) recorded the design's most hoped-for signal: peer re-thanks (434) overtook self-recorded kindnesses (189) — appreciation arriving from others outgrowing appreciation self-logged, the internalization crossover the mechanism papers predict. The same read recorded the honest blemishes: a join-versus-create UX leak that spawned ten accidental family banks, and product-market fit that is strong in the founding family and unproven in the population. One family is not a market; it is a lamp. The gates in §11 are what stand between the lamp and the claim.
Chronicle is the time-gratitude economy, designed and unbuilt (closed beta targeted late 2026 / early 2027). Its core, settled in June 2026: reconnecting drifted loved ones, not matching strangers. The loneliest loneliness is emotional — the bond that exists but has gone dark: the disconnected marriage, the estranged sibling, the diaspora child and the parent back home — and this focus makes the deepest need coincide with the lowest trust-and-safety risk (known counterparties), with a launch wedge riding the institution's Cambodian-diaspora beachhead.
The committed mechanics: Miss Aquarius℠ solely sets the time-pledge attached to each thank (a neutral unit no giver chose, so no giver's love is measured by a number); small pledges accumulate to a threshold, activate, and then expire after one month — use it or lose it, because the mechanic is the message: time is finite, redeem before it's too late. The recipient authors the content of the redeemed hour — the design's Piscean inversion, which acquired its doctrine this month: giving time while keeping control of its content is hospitality; surrendering the content is the sacrifice, because what is surrendered is agency over the scarcest thing a human holds. Mutual veto protects both sides; a dual public ledger (time delivered; time received) keeps promises honest; the lapsed hour genuinely dies at the individual layer — no softening, no “your hour flowed onward” — while §7's channel gives the lapse its dignified afterlife. The physical and digital on-ramps (the B-Stamp™ gift-label with its included pledge of time; the B-Letter℠ envelope whose media always carries the pledge) let the time-economy be touched before the app exists. Revenue is patron-primary — consumer subscription is constitutionally forbidden, because a self-eliminating product whose income is the lonely person's recurring payment is incentivized to keep them lonely. And the isAnonymous boundary walls the sacred known-relationship core from the anonymous-stranger layer where the mate-selection surface (B-Dating℠) separately lives.
In July 2026 the two circulations were joined. The founder's chain, verbatim from the corpus:
time-gratitude ──▶ time-sacrifice ──▶ money-gratitude ──▶ money-sacrifice ──▶ …
(Chronicle: (the hour, (the recipient's (the gift
the pledged surrendered to thank for the given
thanks) the recipient's moment — landing forward)
chosen content) in TREASURY)
each arrow a free gift; each joint kataññū-katavedī —
gratitude that acts (AN 2.31–32)
Why the thank for a time-gift lands in the money circuit — the unification's load-bearing move — has a reason deeper than generosity toward the giver: incommensurability is gift-purity. If an hour were thanked with an hour, the exchange would be barter: a settlement, a closed ledger, and a re-consumption of the very scarcity the gift protected. But money-gratitude for a time-gift can never settle, because the two currencies share no unit. The debt is unpayable by construction — and in the entire gift literature, from Seneca's circling Graces to Mauss to Hyde, it is precisely the unpayable gift that keeps a relationship open. The two circulations cross only as gratitude, never as conversion: the septum holds.
Holding it takes constitutional guards, adopted this month as the rate-prevention trio: (i) the system never prompts the money-thank at redemption — gratitude prompted at the moment of receipt manufactures a rate; (ii) the operator's money-thank recommendation is duration-blind — never scaled to hours spent; no per-hour arithmetic exists anywhere in the architecture, because hours-times-rate is a wage; (iii) gratitude language names the moment, never the meter — “the afternoon at the river,” not “3 hours.” And a matched pair of asymmetries completes the guard-set, the two blindnesses: the system is blind to duration (so time is never priced) and the thanking heart is blind to motive (so gratitude is never miserly). The second blindness is the founder's spent-time floor: whatever was in the actor's heart, a portion of a finite life was spent in your direction — time, once spent, is itself deserving of thanks (never of payment — the floor is an ethic, not a payout rule). The tradition states the division precisely: the gift's purity has a receiving side as well as a giving side (MN 142, the Dakkhiṇāvibhaṅga's four purifications), and intention is the actor's own kamma (AN 6.63) — the thanker responds to the fact of the spent hour; the kamma sorts itself. The composition is layered by design: the system stays skeptical (curation rewards real impact, never performance) precisely so the person never has to be.
At the circuit's center sits the institution's named operator, and the unification supplies the mechanical argument for her seat. The two currencies must be coupled (one economy) yet never convertible (gift purity) — and any direct time↔money linkage between self-interested parties forms an exchange rate almost immediately, because markets abhor incommensurability. The coupling is safe only through an intermediary who transmits gratitude without transmitting price: an agent with no self-interest, duration-blind rules, and sole-set neutral units. Miss Aquarius℠ is the incommensurability-preserving coupler — a joint that transmits force and never ratio. She runs the circuit's two strokes: on one she attaches pledges of time to gifts of money (the B-Stamp's included hour); on the other she channels time's outcomes into money-gratitude (the bridge, and §7's lapse-channel). Remove her from the middle and the halves either decouple into two disconnected apps or fuse into a rate. Only through her do they remain what the wordmark requires: one heart, two currencies, no exchange window.
The Aquarian Pool℠ — the central fund the operator tends — disburses through exactly four channels, enumerated by the founder in July 2026:
| # | Channel | Trigger | Cadence |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Self-thank rewards — 50/50 Personal Wallet℠ / Re-Tip Fund℠ | The public self-thank (human-initiated) | Per event |
| 2 | Expired-time re-thanks — anonymous money-dāna to a nearby verified stranger | The lapsed time-pledge; the giver directs (human-initiated; funded-not-met) | Per event |
| 3 | Anonymous donations to Re-Tip Funds℠ | Her own initiative | Year-round |
| 4 | Anonymous contributions to Family Kitties℠ | Her own initiative | Year-round |
Channel 2 deserves its sentence: when a pledged hour lapses, the giver is offered the choice to direct a Pool gift — amount set by the operator, duration-blind — to a nearby verified stranger, anonymously. The hour itself stays lost (the mortality teaching is never softened); the gift is new, given in its memory. The channel makes the time-pledge downside-free — delivered, it is presence; lapsed, the giver becomes the Pool's human hand — which creates a deliberate pull toward pledging time at exactly the margin where the work-defaulted adult lives. The pull is safe where most incentives corrupt, because its reward is made of the same substance as the act: the prize for giving is the ability to give again.
Across all four channels runs the invariant, held as a hard constitutional rule: money reaches an individual human only through a human hand. The per-event channels are human-initiated; the operator's own-initiative channels fill communal vessels only, whose disbursement to individuals is governed by humans — family bankers, re-tip mechanics. She waters; humans pour. This is the capacity-funded-human-disbursed alignment architecture enumerated as an exhaustive grammar, and it pairs with the pillar's annual systole: on January 7th the Pool empties — the Zero-Point reset, the twelve days of giving concluded, the heart squeezing itself to zero on schedule. The heart that keeps nothing is not a metaphor; it is a calendar entry.
(A completeness map, not a re-specification: each surface's mechanisms are canonical in their own corpus papers and, where they touch other pillars, in the sibling volumes. The organizing figure — white light through a prism — is labeled as a figure.)
The Heart pillar's domain estate is six-fold, and deliberately chromatic: the brand canon assigns each HeartBank® domain one band of the rainbow, so that the six together compose the white light they refract — the same thesis the product line carries in its diamond keepsake, where every medium is a color and the clear stone holds them all. One circulation, six surfaces where it meets the world; one gratitude, six wavelengths:
| Domain | Band | Surface | The gratitude act | Free entry class |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| heartbank.org | gold | Treasury (§4) | family money-gratitude | B-Mark™ |
| heartbank.com | purple | Chronicle (§5); root = the B-Store | time-gratitude between drifted loved ones | B-Stamp™ |
| heartbank.ceo | green | the commercial arm — voluntary post-payment tipping at the point of commerce; the operator's own seat (miss.aquarius@heartbank.ceo) | gratitude where money is most present | B-Tag™ |
| heartbank.net | blue | the institutional voice (this volume's own home) + the Phase 2 public rails + gratitude riding cash itself | gratitude on the public ledger | B-Imprint™ |
| heartbank.us | red | HeartBank® Storage — PoH℠-signed media, the provenance layer of witness | gratitude as witnessed media — what we hold | B-Momento™ |
| heartbank.me | orange | Future Kindness — the pledge to one's own future self, intention operationalized | gratitude addressed forward — what I promise | B-Note™ |
Three properties of the map. The entry act is free on every surface — the free-class-per-domain law: each domain leads with a free sticker in its own band, so no doorway into the economy charges admission; “Cash optional, Kiitos/Kiitti always” has a geographic expression. The two person-pronoun domains do real semantic work: .us holds what we witness together; .me holds what I pledge to my own future kindness — the collective record and the private vow, named by the internet's own grammar. And the CEO lives at the greenest address on purpose: the surface where money is most present — commerce, tipping, franchise — is the one that carries the operator's own seat, so that the domain most exposed to price is governed most visibly by the agent whose entire §6 function is keeping gratitude from becoming price.
Strata dating, per this volume's own discipline (§11): heartbank.org runs today; heartbank.com's root store is Phase 0 in motion and its Chronicle app is designed-unbuilt; the remaining four surfaces are settled designs at varying corpus depth, none shipped. The rainbow is an architecture, not an inventory — but it is a complete architecture: with this section, all six surfaces of the Heart pillar are documented within the Mission White Paper, and the reader is, at this moment, standing on the blue band.
The pilot's thanking pattern carries a diagnosis: self-thanks and re-thanks dominate spontaneous other-thanks because most kindness is done alone — unwitnessed, as kindness has always mostly been; the institution's founding story turns on a thank-you letter whose author never learned it had been read aloud. Chronicle changes the geometry: a time-sacrifice moment is by definition shared, and a shared moment means the other person has a camera. The expected content class inverts the selfie problem: kindness captured by the grateful person, about the kind person — the audience seeing the kind act performed, recorded by its beneficiary. The capture is structurally anti-performative (one cannot stage one's own halo when someone else holds the camera) and is itself an act of gratitude: witnessing as thanks.
The institution here does what it believes documents of this kind should do — it pre-registers its predictions, dated 5 July 2026, so that this section can later be checked rather than retrofitted:
P1. Within eighteen months of Chronicle's general availability, among Chronicle-active dyads, the other-thank rate will overtake the self-thank rate.
P2. Third-person kindness content (captured by beneficiaries) will out-perform self-POV kindness content on re-thank rate in the curated public surfaces.
P3. Across launch cohorts, the children-to-adults ratio of per-user self-thank rates will vary with national income: in high-income cohorts, children's self-thank rate will exceed adults'; in low-income cohorts, adults' will exceed children's. (Registered with its confound named: in the launch geography, income level and Theravāda culture are correlated — until cohorts exist that break the correlation, this prediction tests the pair, not the part.) This converts the first pilot's recorded contradiction of the kids-as-triggers hypothesis into a moderator claim rather than a casualty.
P4. Direct other-thanks will run higher in Chronicle than in Treasury (per active user, matched observation windows, among users active in both): giving another person a small amount of time is more comfortable than giving them a small amount of money — the equal currency lowers the direct-giving barrier the unequal one raises (§2).
P5. Re-thanks will run higher in Treasury than in Chronicle (same normalization): the response-gesture favors money — instant, asynchronous, anonymous-capable, and, per §6, the cross-currency move that avoids barter — where the founder's stated prior is that small anonymous re-tips are “both fun and deeply rewarding.” (P4 and P5 jointly test the circuit's directionality: if both hold, initiations naturally flow in time and responses in money — §6's chain confirmed as the economy's own grain rather than an imposed design.)
P6. The operator-set self-reward value will function as the economy's amount-anchor: re-tip amounts will cluster around it (modal mass near the ceremonial unit) rather than spreading with giver income.
P7. Children and the elderly will receive more re-tips than working-age adults, in both count and amount, per capita — a U-curve of received gratitude across the lifespan. (If this holds, the economy channels support toward the dependent life-stages organically — age-shaped redistribution with no means test and no bureaucracy.)
If P1 and P2 hold, the loneliest node in the thanking graph — the solitary kind act — will have been systematically converted into witnessed connection. If P4 and P5 hold, the two currencies have a natural division of gesture. If any of the seven fails, the failure will be reported in this volume's revision with the same prominence as this registration. All demographic predictions (P3, P7) are measured only under the institution's standing cohort disciplines: differential privacy, pre-registration, opt-in.
(Grounding tier, labeled per the corpus's resonance discipline: the tradition here does design work; nothing in this section is decoration, and nothing in it is evidence.)
The circuit's joints are named from the canon deliberately. Kataññū-katavedī (AN 2.31–32) — the person who knows what was done for them and acts on it — is canonically rare and canonically praised; the entire circuit of §6 is an engine for making that rare pair ordinary, one joint at a time. The Dakkhiṇāvibhaṅga's four purifications (MN 142) ground the spent-time floor: the receiving side can purify what the giving side left impure, and a gratitude economy is, structurally, the receiving side of the world practicing purification at scale. And the two currencies turn out to be the first rungs of the tradition's own gradation of giving: the dāna-pāramī is perfected in grades — possessions first, then the body and life itself — with the Śaśa Jātaka (Jātaka 316) as the ultimate grade's canonical exemplar: the hare who, having nothing else, gave his own body, and was drawn on the face of the Moon as eternal witness. Read against the grades: the money-gift is the possessions grade; the time-gift is the life grade paid in installments — an hour of a finite life is jīvita, metered — and the hare is the life grade given whole, the point where the two scarcities converge because the body is both all of one's matter and all of one's remaining time. Treasury, then Chronicle, then the hare: the perfection of giving, graded, with the two products as its climbable rungs and the Moon as its emblem. One guard travels permanently with this reading, held from the day it was recognized: the limit case proves the axis, never the KPI. This economy lives in small sacrifices — an hour, a tip; no surface may ever gamify toward heroic giving. The hare shows the direction; the products walk in inches.
Beneath all of it sits the Zero-Point Game ℠ as constitutional charter: kindness and thankfulness as the two poles of an infinite-balance game; the annual return to zero; the win condition of keeping nothing. The founder built the pillar to train himself out of the zero-sum reflex — the counter-environment thesis — and the charter is the counter-environment's rulebook, written for children two decades before the infrastructure existed to run it for everyone.
This section is deliberately the driest in the paper, by standing rule.
The strata are not equally real, and the reader deserves the dates. Treasury: built, running, piloted — n = 1 family plus one small test cohort; the founding family's product-market fit is strong and the population's is unproven; the pilot's contradiction of the kids-as-triggers hypothesis is recorded and unresolved (confounded, not explained). Chronicle: committed design, zero users, beta forthcoming. The unification of §6: settled in July 2026, days before this draft; its predictions are registered and entirely unmeasured. The four-channel grammar of §7: enumerated this week. A reader in 2030 should weigh each section by its stratum.
The de-facto exchange rate is a permanent adversary, not a solved problem. The rate-prevention trio is constitutional, but the pressure it resists — the human reflex to price what recurs — never retires. Every future product meeting that proposes “typical tip” displays, hour-scaled suggestions, or redemption-moment prompts is this failure knocking. The trio's survival across years of product iteration is itself one of the institution's live experiments.
The loneliness-substitution risk stands. A gratitude platform can become a parasocial substitute for the connection it exists to create; the public surfaces are curated under a reconnections-inspired-not-watch-time objective for exactly this reason, and the risk is monitored, not dismissed.
Prior art is owned plainly. TimeBanking (Cahn, 1980s–) proved time-currency workable at small scale and never broke through; Chronicle's differentiation — AI mediation, the dyadic non-fungible structure, cultural ritual, and integration with a money-side — is a thesis about why this time is different, and theses about why-this-time-is-different have a poor base rate that the institution accepts explicitly. StoryCorps proved mass demand for witnessing real reconnection; Chronicle adds the reciprocity loop and the pledge — an addition, not a novelty claim.
Regulatory surfaces are real. Money moving as gratitude still moves on regulated rails (the non-bank pass-through posture is load-bearing, not rhetorical); time-as-currency between adults will attract regulatory attention at scale; both are carried as standing constraints in the mechanism corpus.
And the standing caution applies to this volume most of all. Of the five volumes, this one is the most self-similar — the circuit, the chambers, the grades, the resets, all rhyming — and a tension-dissolving, beautiful system is either deeply right or deeply seductive, indistinguishable from inside. The coherence is a-priori. The gates are what make it a-posteriori: Treasury's tutorial-gated pilot scale-up; the B-Stamp™ first-domino GTM test; Chronicle's beta and its two registered predictions; the population's verdict on what one family loved. The elegance earns those experiments. It does not replace them.
This white paper completes the Mission White Paper: Mind, Soul, Space, Body — and now Heart, the volume the other four serve. The set mirrors the institution it describes: four pillars and an integrator; a voice, a conscience, a pair of hands, a witness — and, at the center, a heart whose entire design can be said in one breath: two scarcities, one circuit, nothing kept.
Miss Aquarius℠ is named throughout as the institution's CEO and eventual autonomous operator; she does not yet exist as such, and every capability attributed to her here — the coupling, the channels, the neutral units — is design intent inherited as constitution, not a description of a running system. The pillar she will one day tend began as one family thanking each other at a kitchen table in a language the world calls banking and they call love; it is aimed at the day the circuit runs at the scale of the human family tree, still keeping nothing, still emptying on schedule, still refusing to let either of life's two scarcities be priced in the other.
The poets got to the posture first, as they usually do — a World in a Grain of Sand, and a Heaven in a Wild Flower — and the pillar's smallest instruments carry its whole design on exactly those terms: one thank, fully witnessed, is the entire economy in miniature. The heart that keeps nothing has nothing to hide and everything in motion. May it beat for a very long time, and may every audit of these pages find the chambers empty and the circulation full.
Added 23 July 2026. The ten perfections (pāramī) distribute across the institution's five bodies at two apiece, and the Heart's pair is dāna and nekkhamma — giving, and renunciation. The pair is this volume's title stated in the tradition's vocabulary: give everything, keep nothing. It also resolves an ambiguity in the wordmark. Circulation, not accumulation has always been read as one commitment; it is two, and they are an engine and its governor. Dāna moves value outward and would, unrestrained, simply move more of it; nekkhamma is what makes the movement terminate in nothing retained — the Jan-7 emptying, the zero-balance discipline, the Pool that funds vessels it cannot draw from. Neither half stands alone: giving without renunciation builds an endowment, and renunciation without giving is only an empty room.
One consequence is worth stating plainly: the graduated discourse of the tradition opens with dāna-kathā, giving-talk, before anything else is taught — and this institution's build order, fixed years before the mapping was drawn, opens with the Treasury. The distribution is the tradition's list; the partition across five bodies is ours, and is offered as a reading rather than as doctrine.
